The Netherlands: Gateway to Europe
The Netherlands is called the ‘Gateway to Europe' thanks to its strategic location, its highly developed transportation and IT infrastructures, its efficient customs authorities, and its first-class logistics professionals. Countless global companies access Europe via the Netherlands. East Netherlands, however, is the region where distribution really gets off the ground.
East Netherlands: connecting east and west
East Netherlands is located strategically right between two of Europe's most vibrant economies, i.e. the Dutch Randstad and the German Ruhr Area. The region connects the Seaport of Rotterdam and Amsterdam airport on the one hand with Northern, Central and Southern Europe on the other. East Netherlands has excellent road, water- and railway connections. Importantly, its highway systems do not suffer from the kind of congestion many other regions in Europe face. Apart from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, four other airports in Germany and the Netherlands are within an hour's drive.
A well developed Distribution Center industry
Thanks also to relatively low labor, land and building costs, East Netherlands has developed a vigorous logistics industry and is home to the Euregional Logistics Platform and a Knowledge Center Logistics.
Service-Logistics Cluster; an After Care concept for Electronic Devices covering all of Europe
Together with companies in the after sales service (or After Care) value chain, we have developed a business concept that can support foreign companies in consumer electronics, IT equipment and brown goods with their product service on a PAN-European scale. It offers a one-stop-shop solution for call center, service-repair, spare-parts, logistics, warehousing and recycling.
